Market Downturn: Regional Banking, Telehealth, and Inverse ETFs Face Significant Declines

Regional banks face heavy selling pressure. Coastal Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: CCB) plummets 43.52% to $39.91 after reporting a Q2 net loss of $42 mln. This prompts an investigation by Holzer & Holzer, LLC, to determine if the company complied with federal securities laws. GBank Financial Holdings Inc. (OTC: GBFH) also falls 29.98% to $21.02 following the release of its Q2 2026 earnings.

Teladoc Health, Inc. (NYSE: TDOC) stock drops 28.32% to $6.58, trading between $6.43 and $7.66. Although the company surpasses Q2 adjusted earnings estimates, it revises its financial outlook for 2026 lower. This weaker future guidance, driven by softness in its BetterHelp segment, overshadows the current positive results for investors.

Inverse leveraged ETFs, which aim to provide the opposite return of a stock, also fall. The Defiance Daily Target 2X Short MU ETF (NYSE Arca: MUZ) declines 36.80%. This fund is designed to deliver -2x the daily performance of Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU). Its drop indicates a strong rally for Micron Technology stock. Similarly, the GraniteShares 2x Short SK Hynix Daily ETF (NYSE Arca: SKDD) loses 34.89%.

In summary, today's market losers are driven by specific negative catalysts. Poor earnings and a legal probe hit regional banks. A lowered future outlook hurts a telehealth provider, and strong performance in semiconductor stocks causes significant losses for inverse ETFs that bet against them.
