PharmaCorp Rx Inc. (TSXV: PCRX) is a Canadian pharmacy acquisition and ownership platform focused on pharmacist-led community pharmacy ownership. The company is building a national network of community pharmacies under the PharmaChoice Canada banner.
On May 1, 2026, PharmaCorp announced that it had completed the acquisition of prescription files, patient records, and related operational data from an arm’s-length vendor. The purchase price was $300,000, subject to customary adjustments, and was satisfied with cash on hand.
The acquired patient files will be transferred to, and serviced by, PharmaCorp’s existing PharmaChoice-bannered pharmacy in Western Canada. According to the company, the transaction supports its disciplined growth strategy and is intended to improve operational efficiency while maintaining continuity of care for local patients.
The acquisition follows a period of significant revenue growth for PharmaCorp. For the fourth quarter of 2025, the company reported revenue of $7.7 million, up from $4.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2024. For full-year 2025, revenue increased to $20.9 million, compared with $5.8 million in 2024. Gross profit for fiscal 2025 was $8.3 million, up from $2.2 million in 2024.
PharmaCorp reported a net loss of $1.4 million for fiscal 2025, compared with a net loss of $1.1 million in 2024. The company said the larger annual loss was related to expenses tied to its credit agreement and charter purchase. As of December 31, 2025, PharmaCorp had $25.9 million in cash, compared with $12.9 million at the end of 2024.
Overall, the acquisition strengthens PharmaCorp’s pharmacy network in Western Canada and fits with its strategy of expanding through targeted, operationally accretive acquisitions.
