A bit about me

I’m Sanzhi Kobzhan, an investor, founder, and content creator with a passion for simplifying investing for you. I built Stocks 2 Buy, apps that help you find stocks, manage portfolios, and time trades smartly.

With experience in equity valuation, risk management, and trading, I’ve worked at various second-tier banks and brokerage companies, where I was responsible for trading equities, money market, and fixed income instruments, handling liquidity, and creating risk models. I also taught finance, sharing trading and portfolio tips.

I dealt with different clients, both retail and institutional, while working as a trader and in sales, and I saw how they struggled to find great shares tailored to their risk appetite and to protect their portfolios from excessive losses. That’s why I decided to provide simple solutions to stock investors and built amazing apps.

I founded Stocks 2 Buy (Diversset) and created an apps, Stocks 2 Buy, to help investors like you find stocks and ETFs that match your risk level and help you build a well-diversified investment portoflio. My work focuses on building tools to minimize portfolio losses, maximize returns, and identify the best times to trade. I combine my finance and tech skills to deliver simple, effective solutions for equity investors.

At GlobalNews, I developed visually appealing frontend solutions for market intelligence services. I used React.js, Swift, and JavaScript to create user-friendly interfaces that enhanced the platform’s functionality. My work ensured clients could easily access and interact with financial data.

As a finance lecturer at Freedom Finance, I taught students about equity valuation, trading, financial analysis, and portfolio management. I created educational materials and financial models to make complex concepts easy to understand. My goal was to empower learners with practical investment skills.

At KassaNova Bank, I managed liquidity and cash flow to keep operations running smoothly. I automated reports like LCR, MRR, and IRR using Excel VBA and handled FX and FI strategies as a sales trader. My role also included back and middle office tasks to support treasury functions.

As Head of Cash and Liquidity Management at Tsesna Bank, I oversaw liquidity, developed risk management models per BASEL III, and automated treasury reports. I created borrowing and lending strategies, managed cash limits, and acted as a sales and proprietary trader. My work ensured compliance with Kazakhstan’s National Bank regulations.

I established the Treasury department at the Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture, managing liquidity, cash, assets, and liabilities. I produced reports on liquidity metrics and GAP analysis while attracting new lenders like the UN and European Investment Bank. My efforts helped secure an international investment-grade credit rating.

At Visor Capital, I worked as a sales trader, dealing with FI, MM, and equities. Also, I analyzed investment opportunities and consulted clients on valuations, stock selection and trading strategies, helping them find stocks tailored to their risk appetite.

At Kaspi Bank, I traded fixed income, equities, derivatives, and money markets while serving as a proprietary trader and investment analyst. I analyzed investment opportunities and executed bond buyback programs. My work helped optimize the bank’s investment portfolio.
